Blue walls of ice with air bubbles form organic shapes like frozen waves. Deposits of heavy lava dust traverse the ice in lines and planes. Cavities are formed by melting. A white balloon loses its restraint, floats as it irregularly releases air. The glacier is retreating, losing mass and extent, leaving rock debris behind. The balloon lies flat, retracted. Meltwater flows through a wide plain to the sea.
