FROZEN

• Wallpaper paste, two long opposite-facing glass facades à 600 x 300 cm forming a glass bridge
• Kleister, zwei lange Fensterfronten à 600 x 300 cm, die gegenüberliegen und eine gläserne Brücke bilden
  

Wallpaper paste is applied to the upper edge of the 32 windows of an entirely glazed passageway between two buildings of the Academy of Fine Arts Münster. The viscous mass slowly flows down the glass, drying as it goes. After this the hardened paste looks like frozen water, and transforms the glazed bridge into bridge of ice. When light shines onto the “frozen” panes, shadows corresponding to the paste form on the floor and the transparent “ice” turns into shadow figures.
