A white air pipe, with glass cylinders at each end, lies in a horizontal S-formation on the floor. The materiality of the flexible plastic tubing is in strong contrast to the hard glass cylinder. While the pipe was originally permeable, intended for the transition of air, it becomes something self-contained through its closure by the glass cylinders at each end.
The work is part of a series concerned with the connection of glass cylinders and air pipes; the dimensions of the works are variable.
